FAQs

  • Classes are structured sessions designed to teach pottery skills, guided by an instructor. Students follow a set schedule, learn specific techniques, and receive hands-on guidance throughout the session. Class sizes are small to allow for personalized instruction, making them ideal for beginners or anyone looking to develop specific skills.

Membership, on the other hand, gives experienced potters independent access to the studio.

Membership does not include instruction or supervision, so it’s intended for those who can work safely and independently, and is not for production pottery.

  • For beginner pottery wheel classes, no prior experience is needed. Beginner courses are designed to guide you step by step.

  • For membership, you should have enough pottery experience to work independently, as instruction is not provided.

  • Students enrolled in an 8-week class who are not studio members receive six hours of open studio time to work independently. This time allows you to complete and refine the pieces you create during class.
